Day Twenty-Two

The final day has come.... The time has gone sooooo fast.  I have learned so much, and my students will benefit greatly from from this experience.   The morning began with reflections about how we have utilized resources gained from GAETI.   We then learned about Robotics and how we can use them to inspire students and teach across the curriculum.   The day ended with more technology tips and tricks by Melissa Adkins. I will definitely be working on getting my Google Trainer and Innovator License. Thanks GAETI for all your help and support.   This program will be greatly missed!!!!

Day Twenty-One

https://www.donorschoose.org/project/get-piggy-with-it/2797029/ It was great seeing everyone again. Today we had a great time again today.  We started the day off learning how to write grants, and some great place to look for resources.   Helpful websites: ms-meca.org nea.org/grants teach.com (grants for teachers) I actually have a project on donors choose: Get Piggy With It The second part of the day was spent learning about coding - code.org.  We learned different ways to implement in all curriculum.  We learned that we all have our own bias about coding, and that we must change our mindset when it comes to coding.  In order to do this, we begin teaching children about it at an early age. We ended the day with a global perspective talk with a native of Brazil.
