Day Six
Today began with us doing a Scavenger Hunt at the Dunn Seiler Museum, and then we visited the Broadcast Meteorology green room. We got to see what meteorologist actually in order for us, the viewer, to see the weather report on the news. When then had a guest speaker, Bryce Touchstone. Mr. Touchstone discussed with us the difference in teaching from a global perspective.
After lunch, we began working on our art project. We ended the day working on games and simulations that we could use in the classroom. We had to tell how we would use these games/simulations in the classroom by writing a lesson plan. For my lesson plan, I chose the Periodic Table where the students would have identify the different groups of the periodic table.
