Day Two
Today, was a very interesting and jammed packed day. We starting the morning off learning about Geography, and how to integrate maps into our regular classroom lessons. From there time was spent learning how to use Excel who knew we would later have to use this in class. After lunch, we had to come up with a hypothesis, and draw a conclusion. We created charts using Excel to display the data that we gained during our experiment.
We also had a guest speaker, Michael Murphy, to come in and talk about the history of the Civil Rights Movement - the untold story. He provided us with a website that provides us with lesson plan ideas. We concluded with analyzing political cartoons, and received a great resource here as well.
